Proyecto RAICES is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for new members to join our Board of Directors.
Our organization serves Latinx/Hispanic children and families of Summit County with culturally and linguistically relevant programming that strengthens academic success, preserves cultural roots, and promotes physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. As we continue to grow, we are seeking passionate, community‑minded leaders who want to help guide our mission and expand our impact.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants who:
- Believe in uplifting Latino/Hispanic children and families
- Bring experience in education, nonprofit work, community leadership, mental health, youth development, or related fields
- Value culture, diversity, and community empowerment
- Are willing to contribute time, ideas, and leadership to support our programs
What Board Members Do
Board members help shape the strategic direction of Proyecto RAICES, support organizational growth, and ensure our programs continue meeting the needs of the community. Responsibilities include attending board meetings, participating in committees, and serving as ambassadors for our mission.
