The Alexis Sepulveda-Berger Scholarship Application is Now Open

The Alexis Sepulveda-Berger Scholarship Application

Who Is Alexis?

Alexis Sepulveda-Berger was born on June 20th, 1984, into proud Puerto Rican ancestry. Though she did not survive birth, her parents wanted her memory to live on through the success of other children, and decided to honor that sentiment with a scholarship.

Awarded annually, the Alexis Sepulveda-Berger Scholarship provides an opportunity to Latino or Hispanic undergraduate or trade school students throughout Portage and contiguous counties, including Summit, with the hope that recipients will pay that opportunity forward to their families and communities. In doing so, Alexis’s memory can live on through the impact bestowed upon the award recipients and their community, forever honoring her as a Guardian Angel.
